Given the recent Billboard rule changes, our current funding approach aims to maximize every contribution. Although we don’t have all the answers, here is what we are proposing:
📧 To purchase the same track, each EMAIL ADDRESS will only be used (1) once for the BTS US Music Store and (1) once for another platform. After this, these emails will not be reused to purchase the same track again, even in a new tracking week.
💳 PAYMENT METHODS should also be varied, and for funding purposes we ask that they only be used a maximum of 3 times per tracking week, on 3 different purchasing platforms (ONLY once per platform).
BTS US Music Store
We are funding ONE transaction for each AVAILABLE Email Address & AVAILABLE Payment Method.
Each transaction should consist of ONE of each track we are currently funding (🛒): Yet To Come
📧 An AVAILABLE Email Address is an email that:
- has not been used to purchase the 🛒 on the BTS US Music Store
- AND on more than one other purchasing platform this tracking week
- OR in previous weeks.
💳 An AVAILABLE Payment Method is a payment method that:
- has not been used to purchase the 🛒 on the BTS US Music Store
- AND on more than two other purchasing platforms this tracking week.
REMEMBER: 🛍 LIKE A 💁🏻♀️ NOT A 🤖
- Each email MUST be a unique email address.
- Please DO NOT use an email generator.
- If using Gmail, please DO NOT simply change the domain name to @googlemail.com
- OR add “.” or “+” to the username to create different variations of the same Gmail account.
iTunes
We are funding ONE of each track we are currently funding (💿) for each AVAILABLE iTunes account.
💿: Yet To Come, Run BTS, For Youth, Born Singer, No More Dream, Track of Choice (from CD2)
🍎 An AVAILABLE iTunes Account is an iTunes account that: has NEVER been used to purchase the 💿
📧 AND the email linked to the iTunes account:
- has not been used to purchase the 💿 on Qobuz or Amazon this tracking week
- OR in previous weeks
💳 AND the payment method linked to the iTunes account:
- has not been used to purchase the 💿 on more than two other purchasing platforms this tracking week.
REMEMBER: 🛍 LIKE A 💁🏻♀️ NOT A 🤖
If the 💳 linked to an otherwise AVAILABLE iTunes account has already been used to purchase the 💿 on more than two other purchasing platforms this tracking week, please use an iTunes Gift Card OR link a pre-paid credit card to your iTunes account to complete the purchases.
Amazon
We are funding ONE of each track we are currently funding (💿) for each AVAILABLE Amazon account.
We will fund either the album OR single version of the same song, NOT BOTH.
🛍 An AVAILABLE Amazon Account is an Amazon account that: has NEVER been used to purchase the 💿
📧 AND the email linked to the Amazon account:
- has not been used to purchase the 💿 on iTunes or Qobuz this tracking week
- OR in previous weeks
💳 AND the payment method linked to the Amazon account:
- has not been used to purchase the 💿 on more than two other purchasing platforms this tracking week.

We are funding ONE of each track we are currently funding (🛒) for each AVAILABLE Qobuz account & AVAILABLE Payment Method.
We will ONLY fund the CD version of a track, not Hi-Res.
🎧 An AVAILABLE Qobuz Account is a Qobuz account that has NEVER been used to purchase the 🛒
📧 AND the email linked with the Qobuz account:
- has not been used to purchase the 🛒 on iTunes or Amazon this tracking week
- OR in previous weeks
💳 An AVAILABLE Payment Method is a payment method that:
- has not been used to purchase the 🛒 on Qobuz
- AND on more than two other purchasing platforms this tracking week.
